Happy (belated) New Year!

Hi readers!
I loved the holiday season, but it seems like everything in my life tends to fall apart to a certain extent during the season. As evidenced by my lack of posting in the last couple of months. Please forgive me!

First up, I finished the Mercy Thompson Series Giveaway. All of you wonderful people joined in. I ended up having over 1500 entries. Since I love getting things for free myself, I’m going to be running another giveaway in the month of March. I haven’t decided on which series I’ll be giving away next, so if you want put down your favorite option, head over to my Facebook Page —www.facebook.com/authorjddexter— and tell me on my wall.

Second, I finished Fighting Midnight: Ankarrah Chronicles Book Two. It has a release date of January 18, 2019, but is on pre-sale on Amazon right now. Go check it out here! I’m really excited to see what everyone thinks about it. I had a blast writing it. I’ll even admit that during the writing, in a couple of scenes I found myself typing through my literal tears. Finley and the Gang sure know how to twist me up in knots. Even when I want to shake them, and take my story back, they manage to show up and do whatever they want.

Third, I’ve started another series. I was finding myself with too much idle time for my brain (never a good idea), and had a weird and crazy dream. I woke up the next morning and thought, “That would make a really interesting story.” Thus, the Kellaedan Archives was born. I’m in the process of researching electromagnetic propulsion systems for space travel, which is pretty interesting to my nerdy brain. I’m hoping for an early- to mid-summer release. This is going to be a Sci-Fi romance, heavy on the total awesomeness of women getting crap done!

I hope you’re all doing well, and that your reading lists are full. Come say hi on Facebook. I truly enjoy getting to talk with readers!

I’ve spent a number of my evenings reading, so I’ll be getting my reviews of books up in the next couple of days.

Happy Reading!
