I’m a voracious reader. I read between 15-20 books a month. For some books, that means I don’t get past page 25, for others that means I’ve read everything available by that particular author. I would call myself a relatively picky reader, but reading as much as I do means I’ve honed down on what I like pretty quickly.
Below is a list of my favorite authors. In no particular order or genre, here’s my current list of faves and the series that landed them on my list:
J.D. Robb (In Death series)
Jaymin Eve (Walker Saga and Curse of the Gods series)
Sharonlee Holder (Blood of the Custodians)
Andris Bear (Deadly Sins)
Gini Koch (Alien series)
C.J. Archer (Glass & Steele series)
Jennifer L. Armentrout (Lux & Covenant series)
Adrienne Woods (Dragonian series)
Amelia Hutchins (Fae Chronicles series)
Christine Feehan (Ghostwalkers series)
Did I miss your favorite author? Who else is on your favorite author list?
I’ve been reading for fun since about 4th grade. Since that time, I’ve read close to five thousand books. I’m a huge fan of series (I’ll write another post about my favorite series), and usually prefer those over stand alone books. So my Top 10’s will include recent books from my favorite series.
The last six months have felt more like an overly long week at camp; things constantly pulling me in different directions with a variety of personal and professional plans in constant motion. My reading has taken a bit of a back seat to other obligations, and lately, I’ve been re-reading a number of favorites. However, I have added to my library, and plan to share with you my Top 10 favorites from the beginning of January to the end of June (2018).
